RV LOT FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q.  How many days a year can I stay at my RV lot? A.  You may come and go and use your RV lot as often as you please.  We only keep track of tenant’s amount of time at their RV spot for a water usage fee.  If you stay more than 150 days a year, you will be charged a $200 water usage fee in addition to your lease.  Q.  What are the restrictions on RV’s brought in? A.  Each RV must be in good condition, and no older than 10 years.  Q.  Can I put my motor home on my RV lot? A.  No, we do not allow motor homes, only RV’s.  Q. Do I need to pay for my lease all up front? A. Yes, lease payment is due in full at the beginning of your lease.  We do not break up payments. Q.  Are pets allowed? A.  Yes pets are allowed but must be on a leash or confined.  All pets must be cleaned up after.  Q. What is included in my lease? A.  Water, sewer, and garbage, as well as use of both boat ramps, fish cleaning station, and pavilion. (Please note a water usage fee of $200 per year will be charged for residents that use their lot more than 150 days a year)  Q.  What additional payments am I going to have to make? A.  You will need to pay for your own electricity, as well as maintenance of your own lot. Q. Can I pull my RV out when I want? A. Yes, you may come as go as you please. Q. Is there WiFi? A. WiFi is not included in your lease, however there are services out here for you to sign up for.  Hughes Net, Peoples, Verizon Wireless Hotspot are the popular options.  Q.  Can I build anything on my lot? A. There are certain restrictions when it comes to building.  All building plans must be approved by the SRA by submitting for a permit with our office.  Any questions please email James@popeslanding.com.    Q. Why do I need a background check? A. We run a background check on all new tenants.  We want to ensure that Pope’s Landing remains a safe place to be.  Q. Is there a restaurant on site? A. No, we do not personally have a restaurant.  There are other restaurants in the area within 2 miles of us.  We also sell snacks and microwavable foods in our store.  Q. Is there a swimming area or swimming pool? A. We do not have a swimming pool, or an official swimming area.  You are welcomed to swim from the shores at your own risk.  All tenants do have access to Lake Fork Resort’s swimming pool, located 2 miles up the road.
